Please be aware that Gallery 924 (Nine.Two.Four) shows contemporary work by artists living and/or working in greater Indianapolis. As a helpful guide, this site as well as our Facebook page documents previous shows and artwork accepted into the gallery. The gallery offers solo and two person show opportunities as well as two large group shows per year - June/July and December. Open calls to artists for group shows are listed on the Arts Council of Indianapolis site www.IndyArtsGuide.org. Please know that, other than the two group shows, the artists for the remainder of the calenar year are typically scheduled in advance of one year. The internal selection committee reviews proposals quarterly.
If you are an emerging artist looking to gain experience and show your work in a public space, but do not yet have the show history to exhibit your work in a commercial gallery setting, please consider submitting a proposal to the Indianapolis Artsgarden or other non-profit spaces. To submit for a show at the Artsgarden, please make sure you are listed on the Arts Council's online Artist Directory then submit a brief statement about your work and what you propose to put in the Artsgarden along with up to 10 images of current or past work and an image list (see above). You may submit this information via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. (Images submited via e-mail should be low resolution - 72dpi and less than 1MB each)
