Kwasigroh, David

"I am amazed how daily my basic thoughts were expanded by my encounters and travels. I've come to realize through this experience that the arts will always renew and sustain my outlook on life."

David traveled to London, Bilbao, Barcelona and Genoa to explore architecture. "My focus was learning more about both historic and contemporary architecture, its evolution and the convergence of artistic mediums in these parts of the world at the turn of the century." David spent time visiting museums, bridges, airports and historic buildings, coming away with hundreds of photographs. David has spent his career as a curator. His passion for photography and architecture were key components of his renewal experience.

David focused his study on the work of Gaudi in Barcelona. "In the past century many of the most forward thinking artists of many mediums (Juan Miro, Pablo Picasso, Antoni Tapies, and Antoni Gaudi) spent time in Barcelona and the city has done a wonderful job of preserving this atmosphere. Traveling opened my eyes to the options and possibilities that are available to me and I know I will always love the arts and they will always renew and sustain my outlook on life."
