Same face, new role at Indy Arts Council

Indy Arts Council is pleased to announce that Melissa Rowe has been promoted to Director of Marketing and Communications.

Melissa has been with the organization for nearly two years and brings 16 years of marketing, design, and PR experience to the role.

She will lead Indy Arts Council’s sector-wide marketing strategy, collaborating with our leadership team as well as key stakeholders, corporate partners, local media, and creative agencies. She enjoys developing messaging that inspires people to explore and invest in the arts so that artists and arts organizations can focus on what they do best.

Melissa was previously Head of PR and Events at Pivot Marketing, where she worked with numerous community-minded brands including GANGGANG, The Parks Alliance of Indianapolis, Girls Inc., Visit Bloomington, and the Bottleworks District. Melissa is currently a member of the Indy Maven operations board and is serving on the local organizing committee for the U.S. Olympic Swim Trials.
