Ashley Richardson, a Minnesota native, is a contemporary art photographer residing in Indianapolis. Her tools of choice are traditional film cameras, plastic toy cameras, instant film cameras, cyanotype mediums, and the unconventional flatbed scanner. Her work focuses primarily on capturing the beauty around her in abstract, unusual ways. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the Herron School of Art & Design, and her favorite places to photograph are Garfield Park Conservatory and Indiana’s wide variety of beautiful parks. When she’s not creating art, she enjoys spending time with her husband Brian and their cat Eevee.
