Hi, I’m Nancy Lee — metalsmith, enamelist, and proud Indiana Artisan. Inspired by tiny things, I specialize in handcrafted jewelry and custom wedding rings made with alternative gemstones and recycled metals using hands-on metalsmithing techniques or by wax carving. Clients enjoy a relaxed, one-on-one experience that’s creative, personal, and completely pressure-free. Transforming old family jewelry into meaningful new heirlooms is a passion and a privilege. Oh — and I wrote The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Making Metal Jewelry, too!

Custom Wedding & Heirloom Jewelry
I specialize in custom wedding and engagement rings using alternative gemstones and recycled precious metals. Clients work with me one-on-one, in a relaxed and private setting where they can ask questions, explore ideas, and enjoy a fun, creative experience — with none of the pressure, judgment, or uncertainty that can come with a traditional jewelry store.
One of my favorite things? Taking old family jewelry and reimagining it into a new heirloom — a meaningful piece that connects generations.

Located in the Factory Arts District (formerly known as The Circle City Industrial Complex) , this location has been my home since 2008. You’ll generally find me here weekday afternoons and on First Fridays. I have two spaces, one is a gallery (Suite C4) and the other is my working studio just across the hall. When I’m in, my gallery light is on. First Fridays at Factory Arts District
6-9pm
Join me in my small gallery in the Center Studios of the Factory Arts building, home to a diverse array of 100 artists, art studios and small businesses on the First Friday of each month. See artists studios where paintings, watercolor, pottery, fused glass, blown glass, metal sculpture, collage, assemblages, fiber art, photography, and of course, enameled paintings and jewelry! There’s also a brewery, distillery, an ice cream factory, usually a food truck somewhere, and soon a restaurant.
