Sylvia Thomas is an internationally recognized poet. Her writing centers Queer and Gender theory and their relationship with the Midwest. In her artist practice she uses music, poetry, and performance to capture compelling storytelling.

    Her first collection of poetry connecting her experience as a Trans Woman and Divine Femininity.
  • Twirl: A Collection of Poetry by a Queer and Transgender Hoosier (2021)
    A collection of poetry on the author's experience being Queer and Transgender in Indiana. This collection premiered in Copenhagen, Denmark during World Pride and Euro Games in August of 2021. This collection gained her international attention selling 1,000 copies around the world.

    A collection of poetry and stories analyzing Grief and her experience as a Transgender Person.
