Artist Services

The Indy Arts Council serves as the city’s chief advocate for artists in our community. Our Artist Services team offers a variety of programs and services to help build the careers of professional artists of all types and all career levels. Programs such as exhibitions and performances at the Indianapolis Artsgarden and Gallery 924 allow us to share the talents of our artists with our community while offering professional experience and paid opportunities.

Our services and resources include:

  • An online Artist Directory to help promote artists and their work:
  • The Artist Resources Directory to offer professional tips and guidelines for marketing, healthcare, documentation, sales, legal issues, and much more;
  • The weekly Artist Opportunities E-newsletter to offer information about upcoming grants, commissions, and audition notices to all artists in a timely manner.
  • Artist Industry Nights networking events, seek to bring artists together to foster the development of stronger networks and collaborative opportunities for all our artists.

All of our programs and services are intended to bolster the professional careers of central Indiana artists and are offered to all for free.
