Protecting Your Copyright: Public Art edition

When it comes to public art, what is fair use and what is infringement of your copyright? If your artwork is in the public realm, chances are someone has taken photographs of it and used them for their own purposes. It's a double edged sword as artist's work can go viral on social media and add to their desirability and marketability, but when commerce is involved, it can get tricky.  The Arts Council of Indianapolis has pulled together this quick tipsheet to help artists navigate this space.
