Let's Eat Conference

safe image

Let’s Eat was a day-long professional development conference organized by the Art x Commerce Committee; an Indianapolis based collective of artists focused first and foremost on the business of making art viable for the artist. These artists feel they should be in control of their art and should, therefore, be the primary beneficiaries of it. Let’s Eat revolves around the concept of empowering artists to feed themselves and their communities through the arts.

The details of the business in each industry varies, yet all artists need to know how to read a contract or do our taxes. All artists would benefit from knowing how publishing and/or copywriting operates etc. More importantly, we could all benefit from knowing we are not alone, and that our daily struggles as artists can be transformed collectively.
