Grant Writing Tips: Supplemental Materials for Visual Artists

Supplemental Materials for Visual Artists Workshop - Arts Council of Indianapolis, 2012

What are supplemental materials and why do I need them? Supplemental materials are what you submit along with a grant application - you may also need these items for proposing a gallery exhibition, applying for a public art commission and general marketing of your work.

Supplemental materials are essentially work samples (digital images of your work) and support materials (critical reviews of your work, brochures and programs, etc.) that you will be asked to submit in grant applications, but can also be useful for other submissions and marketing your work.

This workshop is given from the perspective of a granting institution.
