Artist: Rob Day
Rob Day’s parody of Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa aims to increase awareness of programs that protect unowned community cats in Indianapolis. What makes Mona smile? A spayed or neutered cat that shows off its tipped left ear as proof. Day’s distinctive work has been showcased in the pages of Rolling Stone, Sports Illustrated, Esquire and other magazines. His 2004 depiction of the Rolling Stones appears in the 2020 book, Rolling Stone: The Illustrated Portraits.
