Sep 13 – Oct 25

1-4pm

This 7-week class meets on Saturdays: September 13, 20, 27, October 4, 11, 18, 25. Each session is 3 hours.

Nature Journaling is recording and collecting your thoughts, ideas, questions, and observations onto a page in a journal. You do not have to be an artist, scientist, or a poet to enjoy nature journaling. It is simply noticing life as it appears to you, learning how to preserve your observations using words, pictures, and numbers, and putting them down on paper. Like any skill, nature journaling will develop the more you practice it. It is a tool for learning to live more deeply. It can be learned at any age, and will reward anyone who takes up the practice with a record of their days on this earth. All you need is a pencil, a journal, and an open mind.

*This course will take place at 3 different parks around Indianapolis: Holliday Park, Garfield Park, and Broad Ripple Park. We will share the location schedule with you once you confirm your spot in the class.
