From Papercutz, Emmy-winning Nickelodeon writer Max Beaudry, and local Indy illustrator and IU professor David Perry comes a Saturday morning style graphic novel about best food dudes, Peanut and Jelly, as they try to lure back the vicious man-eating Crumb Feeder they let out in pursuit of rising through the ranks of Foodtopia’s food pyramid social hierarchy, from the lowly Crumbs to the much-coveted aristocratic Toppings!
On Saturday, August 16th at 3pm, come to Indy Reads Community Bookstore in Indianapolis’s Fountain Square for your FREE pre-release paperback copy of the “Aw, Nuts!” graphic novel, and get it signed by the illustrator, David Perry! We’ll have food from Indy’s PB&J Factory, and the children’s corner will be stocked with coloring and activity pages for the kids, as well as posters and stickers, so come see what’s cookin’ in Foodtopia with this crumbelievable comic!
Please RSVP on the Eventbrite page using the “Learn More” link provided. The event is totally free, so when you “buy” your ticket, you have the option of donating–but the ticket “purchase” is essentially an RSVP for Indy Reads to get a head count.
Thanks, your best food dude,
David Perry
