Ballet Folklorico Mosaicos performances provide the opportunity to share the dancers’ Mexican cultural traditions and are the source of personal and cultural pride. This free event presented is in collaboration with Arte Mexicano en Indiana, Nopal Cultural and Consulado de México en Indianápolis.
About Ballet Folklorico Mosaicos
Ballet Folklorico Mosaicos is a non-profit educational and charitable organization that is dedicated to teaching, preserving and sharing the heritage of Mexican folk dance. They aim to provide cultural education and enrichment by the way of Mexican Folklore dances. Ballet Mosaicos and Mosaicos KIDS include dancers whose ages vary between 5 – 65 years. For some, their participation has become a family activity. For others, it is the source of exercise and education, that is, the opportunity to learn more about the traditions of their own culture.
Nopal Cultural’s Más Artes Más Cultura
This event is a part of the Nopal Cultural’s Más Artes Más Cultura in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Arte Mexicano en Indiana & Red Global MX Crossroads present Identidad, Dreams, y Marchas 2024 an art exhibition featuring works by established, emerging and young Mexican and Mexican-American and Latina/o/e/x artists, in collaboration with the Indy Arts Council.
