Burton Cummings is best known as lead vocalist and songwriter for The Guess Who, the first Canadian group to reach No. 1 on Billboard and earn a Platinum album for U.S. sales. Starting in the late 1960s, the band scored a string of international hits including “American Woman,” “These Eyes,” “Laughing,” “No Time,” “Share the Land,” “No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature” and “Clap for the Wolfman,” all written or co-written by Burton. His solo career has included the Gold single “Stand Tall,” among other hits, and five Juno Awards for Best Male Vocalist and Best Album. The current tour supports Burton’s 2024 album A Few Good Moments, his first in over a decade.
