Oct 4

The country’s premier male vocal ensemble brings their distinctive sound to Second for a community concert. This GRAMMY® Award-winning group has been called “the world’s reigning male chorus” by The New Yorker and is known as “an orchestra of voices” for its wide-ranging repertoire and incredible virtuosity.

Rooted in the Renaissance, Chanticleer’s repertoire includes classical, gospel, jazz, and popular music, with a commitment to the commissioning of new compositions and arrangements.

Founded in San Francisco in 1978 by singer and musicologist Louis Botto and named for the “clear-singing” rooster in Geoffrey Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales, Chanticleer has become one of the most prolific recording and touring ensembles in the world.

You don’t want to miss the opportunity to see and hear Chanticleer filling the sanctuary with inspiring harmony. Tickets start at $35 and are now available.
