Join us for a dreamy evening with Deanna Poelsma, a ceramic jewelry artist whose stylized vision evokes a retro aesthetic inspired by both the geometric patterns of Art Deco and the graceful curves of Art Nouveau botanicals. You will spend two captivating hours with Deanna as she demonstrates her distinctive process of crafting handmade stoneware earrings and pendants. Discover the meticulous methods she uses, from shaping the clay to adding the final touches of color that render her one-of-a-kind, wearable works of art. Deanna will share the insights behind her designs and offer a behind-the-scenes look at her artistic journey. Prepare to get your hands a bit messy as you explore some of her techniques while putting the finishing touches on a small piece of jewelry. Afterwards, savor delightful Indiana Artisan refreshments and don’t miss the chance to purchase Deanna’s stunning jewelry.

Free, small-group experiences with some of the state’s outstanding creatives are one of the nicest benefits of joining Friends of Indiana Artisan. Additional benefits include free admission to the Indiana Artisan Marketplace and Holiday Marketplace, invitations to special events, a monthly newsletter, and occasional special offers at our stores. You may invite your personal friends to join us for the cost of $10. It’s a great way to introduce them to Indiana Artisan and our Friends program. If they decide to become a Friend, their admission will be credited to their $55 membership.
