Please join guest artist flutist Susanna Self and Butler piano faculty Kate Boyd for an evening of flute and piano music. This program features pieces from Baroque opera serial composer Johann Adolf Hasse, the vibrant “Firefly Triptych for Alto Flute and Piano” by Amanda Harberg, the solo flute aria “Flight” by Adolphus Hailstork, and Sergei Prokofiev’s Sonata for Flute and Piano. From colorful descriptive modern works to classical standards, this program has something for everyone to enjoy.
