Join Dr. Phil Pierick and colleagues Dr. Sophie Benn and Dr. Amanda Hopson in a program featuring chamber and solo music for saxophone. The audience will hear newly composed works for soprano and alto saxophones by Annika Socolofsky, Frédéric Durieux, Jeffrey Mumford, and David Reminick, paired with Florent Schmitt’s classic Légende, op. 66 and a new arrangement of five Richard Strauss Lieder for alto saxophone and piano.
