Enjoy an evening of dramatic new chamber music by award-winning Polish composer / conductor Ignacy Zalewski. A professor of music composition and director of the new music ensemble at the Chopin University of Music (Uniwersytet Muzyczny Fryderyka Chopina) in Warsaw, Zalewski’s music has been commissioned and performed by orchestras and ensembles across Europe and around the world. Founded in 1810, Chopin University is the oldest and largest music school in Poland, and one of the largest in Europe. The program will include spectacular performances by violinist Davis Brooks and pianists Jim Loughery and Bibiana Miškolciová.
