Join the Storm Trio for an evening of music for soprano, clarinet, and piano, including Schubert’s Masterpiece Der Hirt auf dem Felsen (The Shepherd on the Rock), Lori Laitman’s moving I Never Saw Another Butterfly, and Gwyneth Walker’s settings of Emily Dickinson texts. Butler voice faculty member Laura Storm founded the trio with clarinetist Steve Becraft in 2008, and they have performed together throughout the United States including concerts in Arkansas, California, Nevada, Texas, Wisconsin, and Tennessee. They are thrilled to have pianist Karen Laubengayer joining them for this program.
