The Full Circle Nine Gallery (FC9) will feature Robin Frost-Bess in “Stay in the Light” as part of the First Friday art tour at the Full Circle Nine Gallery (FC9), 6-9pm on Friday, March 7th. Admission and parking are free.
Robin Frost-Bess is a paper artist that sources her materials from many places, be it while traveling, searching obscure art stores, or simply looking at a menu in a new way. Anything, she said, that could make her think, “What could that be?”
“These are challenging times for all of us,” Frost-Bess said. “I want this show to demonstrate that everyone needs some light in their life and an opportunity to enjoy the beauty that exists all around us. March is always a time of renewal and beginnings, and I hope that my art reminds the viewer of that.”
About Robin Frost-Bess
Robin Frost-Bess comes from a family of artists. “I grew up thinking everyone’s mom and grandmas were artists. I was a bit of a loner and somewhat shy,” Frost-Bess said. “I was always curious about creating art and especially miniatures. I need to create and truly love bringing joy to others through art.”
Frost-Bess hopes her show brings to mind a sense of community, quoting Martin Luther King, Jr. as an inspiration: “We must live together as brothers or perish together as fools.”
“I’m looking for my brothers and sisters,” Frost-Bess said.
