Untold Stories of Black History at the Kan-Kan closes Black History Month with a special screening of the documentary HAUGHVILLE USA on Friday Feb 28th, followed by a Q&A with the film’s writer/director and Indianapolis art leader Ben Rose.

Film Synopsis: Originally founded by Slovenian immigrants, Ben Rose explores how this culturally diverse but predominantly Black neighborhood has endured. Join in a short discussion afterwards about how new populations of immigrants and the pressures of gentrification will affect this community’s future.
