Teaching is the ultimate improv scene and this 4-day intensive will give you the skills to crush it! Designed specifically for educators, this fun, fast-paced course uses improv exercises to boost classroom confidence, spark creativity, and strengthen communication. Whether you’re navigating a tough parent-teacher conference, managing a surprise fire drill, or just trying to keep your students engaged on a rainy Monday, improv helps you think on your feet, adapt with ease, and connect more authentically.

You’ll walk away with practical tools to enhance collaboration with coworkers, build trust with students, and create a more dynamic, responsive learning environment. Best of all? This course may qualify for Professional Growth Points (PGPs) in Indiana—so you can grow professionally and have a blast doing it! So much better than sitting in front of a screen!

TUITION: $199. Please note this class does not qualify for the EDU discount as it is already discounted.

We offer two main options: 1) Pay 50% now and 50% the day before class begins and 2) Pay in four, equal payments over 6 weeks. ABOUT MIKE MARBACH
Mike Marbach (he/him) is the founder of Crossroads Comedy Theater and currently serves as Executive Director of its Indianapolis operations. Originally from Philadelphia, Mike has been studying, performing, and teaching improv since 2005. His training includes coursework at iO Chicago, The Annoyance Theater, and the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York, along with workshops from renowned instructors across the country. He has had the privilege of learning from celebrated improvisers such as Susan Messing, Mick Napier, Mark Sutton, Jill Bernard, Joe Bill, Charna Halpern, Scott Adsit, Mike O’Brien, Noah Gregoropoulos, Jet Eveleth, and Jason Chin.

With over 15 years of experience developing and managing arts education programs, Mike has designed curricula and taught improv in both academic and professional settings. His teaching credits include Drexel University in Philadelphia, workshops for Arizona State University, and co-developing a continuing legal education (CLE) course in improv for Duke University.

Outside of his work with Crossroads, Mike enjoys watching films and TV, listening to audiobooks, bowling, and honing his ever-growing repertoire of celebrity impressions.
