Join the Indianapolis Municipal Band for an afternoon of music, as the band celebrates 75 years of making music together! The Indianapolis Municipal Band is Indy’s longest-running, all-volunteer community band, primarily comprised of talented amateur performers who do not receive the majority of their livelihood from participation in the ensemble. On Sunday, April 6th the band will take the stage at the Booth Tarkington Civic Theater. The music selections will include works that have been composed for the group over the years, including a premier of a piece composed by Richard Saucedo to celebrate the ensemble’s anniversary.
