The Heart Collectors is a four-piece self-described “epic folk” band from the Byron Bay Hinterland in New South Wales. Their music blends inspiration from 1960s and 1970s folk and roots music with their angelic vocals and enchanting melodies drawing comparisons to Fleetwood Mac, with a Celtic-inflected lilt.

Their music spans from acoustic harmony-led ballads to Bowie-esque sonic soundscapes. With soaring cello, intricate guitar, sparkling mandolin, boot-banging banjo, passionate strikes of a tambourine, and the thundering of the bodhran, The Heart Collectors have become sought-after performers at international music conferences and festivals, including South by Southwest (SXSW) and Folk Alliance International.

Their latest album, The Space Between, features celestial singles like “Evergreen” and “Where Light Rests” and was ranked #9 on the USA Folk Alliance International Folk Charts – February 2024.

“The Heart Collectors radiate warmth through their music and personalities–any interaction with them will leave you smiling.” — Folk Alliance International
