The year 2024 marked the 100th birthday of legendary trombonist and NEA Master, JJ Johnson. In celebration of this centennial milestone, NYC trombonist, John Fedchock recorded a live quartet recording at The Jazz Kitchen titled, “Justifiably J.J.”. The September album release will be celebrated in an official CD release tour, including this October 22 performance. Appearing alongside Fedchock will be pianist Luke Gillespie, bassist Jeremy Allen, and drummer Sean Dobbins. This is a special one-time event not to be missed.
