The Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library (KVML), in partnership with the Literature of War Foundation, is proud to launch Banned Books Week 2025 with a series of powerful conversations on censorship, storytelling, and the freedom to read.
Censorship, Power & Narrative Authority-Sunday October 5th, 2:00pm (free event, but tickets are required)
A Literature of War panel discussion featuring acclaimed veteran authors: Joseph Earl Thomas, Matt Gallagher, Natalie Lima, and Steven Dunn will join moderator Michael Jerome Plunkett to share perspectives on censorship, institutional power, and identity-exploring who gets to tell the story, and why it matters.
