A southern Indiana native and IU graduate, Hank Ruff now tours nationally with his modern take on classic country music, combining rock energy with traditional sounds of steel guitar, fiddle and banjo. Named after Hank Williams Sr., he started playing mandolin at 11 and soon picked up guitar, playing gigs and writing songs with his father, Bloomington musician Andy Ruff. Hank’s 2022 EP Hellbender hit #1 on the iTunes all-genre chart.
