Austin Dean Ashford is a multifaceted artistan in acting, writing and social engagement.

In this class we will cover

Foundations of Acting

Explore the core principles of acting, including character development, emotional authenticity, and physical expression, through a series of exercises and scene work designed to deepen your understanding of the craft. 

Scene Study & Performance

Dive into practical acting techniques through scene analysis and performance, enhancing your ability to embody characters, connect with scene partners, captivate audiences.

Audition Preparation & Professional Development

Receive guidance on audition preparation, monologue refinement, industry navigation, and gain valuable insights into the audition process, empowering you to pursue an acting career with confidence and professionalism.

August – Mondays & Wednesdays from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

 

The Naptown African American Theatre Collective is excited to bring its Education for All program to the Indianapolis community! 

The program, supported by the 16 Tech Community Corporation  is a six-month program offering free educational class sessions on theatre education and business in the arts. 

Classes include: Wig Design, Costume Design, Lighting Design, Set Design, and The Business of Show
