The Naptown Trombone Collective is an ensemble dedicated to preserving Indiana’s rich history of jazz trombone virtuosos while blazing new trails for the instrument in the world of jazz. Created by long-time musician on the Indianapolis jazz scene Richard Dole and recent transplant Brian Pattison, the NTC features the cream of central Indiana’s trombone crop alongside a swingin’ rhythm section. Their debut performance at the Jazz Kitchen will include music by JJ Johnson, Slide Hampton, David Baker, Richard Dole, and Brian Pattison.
