PASIC50 will take place November 12-15, 2025, at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis. With nearly 6,000 attendees, it’s the largest event of its kind – exclusively focused on drums and percussion in all its forms and from all genres – in the world. PASIC50 will feature plenty of star power, clinics and a concert by funk superstars Galactic, featuring Jelly Joseph and drummer Stanton Moore, on Saturday, November 15, 2025. In addition to the deep slate of concerts, clinics, and behind-the-scenes peeks, PASIC50 also features an interactive Expo Hall with more than 100 music brands such as Sabian, Yamaha, Zildjian, Promark, IP, DW, Gretsch, Mapex, Remo, Evans, Ludwig, Tama, and many more. This year’s 50th celebration features a special free performance for the public: Inuksuit, a modern classical composition for percussion, to be performed in the White River State Park at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15. This unique music, composed by John Luther Adams, will feature more than 150 professional and university-level percussionists and drummers performing this composition that evokes nature and space, with the musicians moving throughout the park during the performance. Audience members are encouraged to move throughout the park as well to experience different perspectives of the music. This performance, with original artistic director Steven Schick leading, offers Indianapolis fans and families a completely different way to interact with classical music.
As part of PASIC50, The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra will offer a special performance on the evening of Thursday, November 13, at 6:00 pm at the Hilbert Circle Theatre on Monument Circle. Conductor Hannah Schendel will lead the ISO in a program spotlighting percussion, featuring world-renowned artists Michael Burritt and Ivan Trevino, and including the world premiere of Burritt’s “Ontario.” Information and tickets are available at https://www.indianapolissymphony.org/event/50-years-of-pasic/.
