Artist statement: This body of work and exhibition is about beauty found in barren places. It’s about faith, identity, and learning to create even when it’s hard. It’s me, fully stepping into new levels within my calling and defining my voice as an artist. Quietly, I have been stretched in different ways this season, yet I have to push through.
