Manuel Tevar is the winner of the San Fernando Royal Academy of Fine Arts Prize, Guerrero Foundation Prize, Amics del Liceu Foundation Prize, and First Prize at the Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition in New York. Tévar is one of the most complete and internationally recognized Spanish musicians of his generation.
As a pianist deeply committed to promoting Spanish, Latin American, and contemporary music, Tevars wide and versatile repertoire ranges from Renaissance music to the music of today. This recital program will include familiar works by Bach, Schubert, and Chopin as well as works by Spanish composers such as Alonso, Albeniz, and Tevar.
