About the Exhibition
Priya Wittman’s Hold Lightly takes a closer look at the complex task it is to individually and collectively attempt to preserve memory and history, while looking ahead to hopes for the future, all without losing sight of the experience of the present moment.
“Hold Lightly is a collection of works documenting my recent thoughts on time,” said Wittman. “As an artist who makes physical objects, I am perpetually concerned with the passage of time, and the effects this has on the artworks I create and send into the world.“
First Friday reception: August 2, 2024
