Founded as part of the Sound Ecologies Music Artist Collective, the Chamber Orchestra exists to uplift Indiana composers and performers while fostering collaboration between the arts and environmental and social advocacy. To date, Sound Ecologies has commissioned and premiered over 120 new works, establishing itself as a cornerstone of creative music-making in the region. With a mission rooted in community and creativity, Sound Ecologies works to connect musicians, listeners, and local causes through dynamic and accessible performances.
The June 3rd concert continues this mission by highlighting living composers from Indiana and offering a platform for new music in an inclusive and celebratory setting. Admission is free, and all are welcome. Name-your-own-price tickets are also available in advance on the Sound Ecologies website. Donations will be accepted to support future programming.
