6pm – 8pm

An evening of reflection and restoration with Danicia Monét & Devon Ginn, offering a meditative soundbath and literary reading in honor of the National Day of Rest and Harriet Tubman Day.

Held within the embrace of Mariah Ivey’s exhibition, Nourishing Well: Black Women and the Poetics of Sacred Space, this experience invites you to settle into stillness, guided by meditations from Before She Was Harriet and Black Nature: Four Centuries of African American Nature Poetry.

Things to Know:

  • Dress warmly for comfort and relaxation.
  • Bring a yoga mat, blanket, and water bottle to enhance your experience.
  • Doors will close at 6:30 p.m. to maintain a sacred and undisturbed space.

Let the resonance of sound bowls and the power of poetry carry you into a space of rest, reflection, and reverence.

Space for this free event is limited, so please RSVP with thoughtfulness.

We look forward to sharing this moment with you.
