Make no illusion. Salvador Dalís mesmerizing works will adorn the THE LUME Indianapolis on Floor 4 of the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields from March 2, 2024 through March 2, 2025. The Spanish artist is known for his surreal dreamscapes of melting clocks and fascinating creatures. Fluttering butterflies will envelope guests who step into Dalís wild and wonderful worlds.

The exhibition will showcase four large, vibrant watercolor paintings by Salvador Dalí from the IMAs permanent collection. The paintings were originally designed for the opera, The Spanish Lady and the Roman Cavalier, and will be making their collective museum debut for the first time since they were acquired in 1973.
THE LUME Indianapolis featuring Dalí Alive will feature brand-new digital content in all three digital gallery spaces. Additionally, the new café concept, El Mercado Surreal, will boast a selection of Spanish-inspired small bites by Newfields culinary team. Youll be able to daydream while you sip Spanish brews and refreshing cocktails.
