THIS IS DIFFERENT: Reducing stigma around Substance Use Disorder and addiction in Marion County a short play from women-focused theatre company Summit Performance Indianapolis.

This June, Summit Performance Indianapolis presents an original one-act that spotlight women’s stories about an issue that has touched thousands of Hoosiers: opioid stigma. Teaming up again with Dr. Sally Wasmuth of the IU School of Health and Human Sciences, Summit has assembled a team of brilliant artists to bring these stories from our community to the stage and to the conversation. Developed from interviews with local women (and a few men) who have struggled with opioids and substance use disorder, THIS IS DIFFERENT is an evening of theatre, women’s stories, and community conversation.
