The Ronen Chamber Ensemble’s 2024-25 season begins with a tribute to Gabriel Fauré upon the 100th Anniversary of his death. A program of music by members of his musical circle and compositional descendants – including Lili Boulanger’s D’un matin de printemps, an arrangement for oboe and piano of Maurice Ravel’s Sonatine, and excerpts from The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires by Astor Piazzolla – culminates in Fauré’s youthful masterpiece, the Piano Quartet in C minor, Op. 15.
