This interview is a part of Herron School of Art + Design’s “Music Tech Mondays,” a semester-long interview series open to the public featuring discussions with music tech innovators, Grammy winners, and industry leaders across the globe hosted by award-winning music app developer Matthew Fecher.

Tristra is a writer and PR strategy generator with nearly two decades of experience working across a broad range of industries. She’s passionate about cross-cultural stories, sounds from all over, and insights into tech, science, and society. Ariana Beedie is a writer, curator, and community connector. She’s a Naptown native. Her passion for community storytelling and an asset-based community development approach led her to co-create projects like Face A Face (FAF Collective), Hoy Polloy Art Gallery, WooGrl Fest, and much more. Ariana’s work is featured in AFROPUNK, Sixty Inches from Center, Indianapolis Contemporary, Indy Arts Council, and WFYI. Ariana is also an alumnus of the Public Allies Indianapolis program.

Dave Lindquist is the retail, restaurant and arts reporter for the Indianapolis Business Journal. He also hosts a weekly new music show “The Beat with Dave Lindquist” on radio station 92.3 WTTS. The Eastern Illinois University alum wrote about pop culture for The Indianapolis Star from 1998 to 2020.
