Main Street Zionsville will come alive with creativity and community spirit on Friday, June 27, from 4 to 9 PM, as it hosts its highly anticipated Summer Art Walk. This special evening beckons residents and visitors to stroll the charming streets of downtown Zionsville while enjoying fine art, live demonstrations, and creative local culture.
Nearly 30 participating businesses in the Main Street district will open their doors to host and showcase the work of talented local and regional artists, transforming the storefronts and sidewalks of The Village into dynamic galleries. Guests will be able to meet and interact with the artists.
As a special feature, screenings of ART & SOUL: A portrait of Nancy Noël will be held at COhatch (75 N. Main St). The Emmy nominated feature length documentary film is a journey into the mind and spirit of Nancy Noël. It renders an intimate portrait of one of the most prolific female painters of our time. Nancy Noël was a renown painter, a visionary in her business, and an activist in her life. Nancy Noël created not just paintings, but a life that became her art’s inspiration. Through her images and their creation, we see the world as Nancy saw it. Filmmaker Alex Kosene shared: “Nancy Noel became a Zionsville resident in the 1970s. Throughout her life and career, this little area of the world greatly influenced her artwork. Zionsville allowed her creative energy to flourish and, in time, I like to think she gave back some creative energy to this town she loved.”
In conjunction, Art in Hand will be celebrating their 25th Anniversary. Many of the artists will be on hand to meet with collectors as they congratulate those in this beloved artist cooperative that has been a cornerstone of the Zionsville arts scene for a quarter of a century.
“This event is a tribute to the incredible talent and passion that exists right here in our community,” said Tom Casalini, Main Street Zionsville VP. “It’s more than an art walk — it’s a gathering that celebrates expression, connection, and the beauty of our town.”
