Celebrating Arts Education!

Igniting Imagination And Seizing The Moment When Change Is Possible

Our youth are the key to a vibrant and promising future in central Indiana. The arts play a vital role in education, enabling critical thinking and creative skills necessary to succeed in our ever-changing world. At this year’s Start with Art, we will celebrate arts education programs in our schools and in our communities that are changing lives, building bridges, and empowering students each and every day. Actor, business owner, entrepreneur, author, and renowned teaching artist Eric Booth will be our keynote speaker for the 29th annual Start with Art luncheon. Join the Arts Council and Start with Art Honorary Corporate Chair Morrie Maurer for an afternoon filled with stirring performances, recognition of exemplary people and programs in the arts through the presentation of the 2015 ARTI Awards, and several exciting not to be missed announcements.
