Position Summary
The ACT Out Business Manager will oversee the daily administrative, fundraising, financial, and operational functions of the ACT Out program. This individual will serve as a liaison between community and business partners, school districts, and the CMP senior leadership team to ensure smooth scheduling, billing, reporting, and evaluation of ACT Out programming. The position requires a balance of strategic planning, hands-on coordination, and strong communication skills. The position will oversee and maintain current contracts, grant-funded programs, and be responsible for developing new contracts and corporate training programs, while identifying and targeting new partnerships and funding opportunities for the program’s growth to expand and scale the program.

Key Responsibilities
Program Coordination:
o Supervise scheduling of ACT Out performances and workshops with schools, businesses, and community partners.
o Serve as point of contact for clients regarding logistics and inquiries.
Budgeting and Finance:
o Track and manage program income and expenses.
o Generate invoices, track payments, and manage contracts with clients and vendors.
o Assist in the preparation of annual program budgets and financial reports.
Outreach and Development:
o Cultivate and maintain relationships with educators, administrators, business, and community leaders.
o Identify and pursue new partnerships and business development opportunities.
o Support grant writing, reporting, and data collection related to program impact.
o Collaborate with school grant administrators, school project directors, curriculum directors, school foundations, community foundations, and corporations to develop new partnerships and funding opportunities. (Travel may be necessary statewide to engage constituents.)
Marketing and Communications:
o Collaborate with CMP’s marketing team to promote ACT Out services and impact.
o Create and distribute promotional materials to potential clients, business, and community partners.
o Represent the program at local events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Administration and Evaluation:
o Maintain accurate records of program activities, attendance, and outcomes.
o Work with outside consultant to administer participant feedback surveys and track program performance metrics.
o Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Arts Management, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 3 years of administrative or management experience, preferably in a nonprofit, educational, or performing arts
setting.
• Experience working with diverse communities of adults and students.
• Strong organizational, budgeting, and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for social issues, youth development, education, community wellness, and the arts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Reliable transportation (you will be required, at times, to travel statewide to performance sites.)
• Ability to identify partnership and collaboration opportunities.
• Experience working with schools and/or community-based organizations is a plus.

Compensation:
$50,000 a year, plus benefits. This is a grant-funded position, with potential for growth based on program expansion.
