Poolside Gossip is the latest exhibition venture from Damien Center and Café Oztara.
The basic idea – it’s summer. The season for girlies to yap and rocket bomb pops to melt. Submit your work if any of the following apply: WET. HOT. SWEATY. RIDICULOUS. SPLASHY. BETCHY. RAUNCHY. FRIENDLY. FUN. NOSTALGIC. SWEET. SPICY. TOP DOWN. DRIVING FAST. MOVING SLOW. LIVING LARGE.
Poolside Gossip will open July 11 and be on display until the end of August, 2025. The exhibition will be covered by local media outlets and Damien Center’s social media platforms. More descriptive details will be made available closer to the date of opening.
Please note that selected artists will be responsible for outfitting 2-D pieces with weight-appropriate D-rings and wire for hanging. Delivery of artwork to the exhibition site must occur between June 30 – July 3.
