Athenaeum Seeks Artists for Art Saves Lives Exhibition

This exhibition is hosted in collaboration with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention – Indiana Chapter and the Athenaeum Foundation. Join us in observing Mental Health Awareness Month, and in celebrating the Indiana Chapter of AFSPís 16th birthday! The artwork displayed at this show will be a visual highlight in the lobby of the Athenaeumís Basile Theatre, where AFSP Indianaís Sweet Sixteen birthday fundraiser will be celebrated on May 10.

Submissions are open to any artist based in the Greater Indianapolis area, of any experience level, age 16 and up. This art show explores themes of mental health, suicide prevention & survivorship, and journeys of hope. Artists are welcome to submit multiple pieces for consideration, but gallery space is limited, so there may not be space for all submissions.

Submissions are due by 5 00 PM on April 5, 2024.

Artists will be notified about the status of their submission(s) by end of day April 17, 2024.
