Calling all fiber artists! The Unitarian Universalist Church of Indianapolis is seeking fiber-based work to be hung displayed in our sanctuary. We welcome all forms of fiber arts–embroidery, quilts, knitting, weaving, lace, and more. Works may be functional or purely artistic, but must be suitable to be hung on the wall or to be displayed on a pedestal.

There is no fee to submit work and no commission taken from sales.

Rooted in the values of Unitarian Universalism, we covenant to be a congregation where people of all generations find meaning and purpose. We envision a congregation that:

● Champions Justice – Actively working to dismantle oppression, uplift marginalized voices, and build diverse multicultural communities of fairness and belonging.

● Advances Equity – Honoring the inherent worth and dignity of every person, affirming their right to flourish with compassion, dignity, and love, and creating fully accessible and inclusive spaces.

● Fosters Transformation – Nurturing spiritual exploration, lifelong learning, and intellectual curiosity for individuals of all ages, within and beyond our congregation.

● Embraces Pluralism – Honoring diverse beliefs, identities, practices, and experiences as we seek wisdom and truth together in community.

● Lives in Sacred Interdependence – Caring deeply for one another, our community, and our planet, with a commitment to sustainability and mutual support.

● Practices Generosity and Love – Sharing our time, talents, and resources to transform lives within our congregation and in the wider world.

● Nurtures Future Generations – Supporting the spiritual growth and leadership of children, youth, and adults through vibrant religious education and inclusion in congregational life.
