Applications for Indy Convergence’s interdisciplinary residency program are open January 15 through February 15, 2026. This year’s Convergence is hosted in partnership with the Theatre School at DePaul and will run from JUNE 16 to JUNE 27 in Indianapolis.
Creatives from all artistic backgrounds interested in working and learning in an interdisciplinary environment are encouraged to apply. A residency alumni shared “It is genuinely hard to overstate the personal, artistic, and community value of this program. As an artist, it is profoundly rare to have a funded space for my work in community. Our work is inseparable from the way we make it, and the way you make work at IndyConvergence is the right way: warmly, daringly, and with strong encouragement.”
Fast Facts:
Apply by February 15
Minimum $1,000 stipend
Apply with a project or as a contributing artist
All participants teach a workshop in their area of expertise
Out of town artists receive housing and a modest travel stipend
Participants must be available for the entire residency
