We’re pleased to invite artists to apply for the twentieth, annual Déjà Vu Art and Fine Craft Show to be held on Saturday, November 8th from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., EST. The event will take place at The Commons, which is located at 300 Washington Street in downtown Columbus, Indiana.
Déjà Vu is held in celebration of America Recycles Day, so all work exhibited must be made of scrap or repurposed materials. A few artists who create work from natural and/or sustainable materials will be accepted, too. If you have questions about your art or fine craft being eligible, please write.
In addition to the application, you are to send at least three high resolution, digital photos of your work and one of your booth. Besides using images to jury applicants, we’ll use those from accepted artists for publicity purposes, namely in print advertising and in Facebook posts about you and your work.
We think last year’s Déjà Vu Art and Fine Craft Show was the best event we’ve presented in its nineteen-year history. While we’d like to accept all who apply, due to the size of our venue, we’re limited to 60 booth spaces. Competition is becoming tougher, too, so it’s very important that you write a convincing description of your work and submit your best photos.
