About the Exhibition
In commemoration of International Women’s Day, EmpowHER 2: The Art of Being a Woman brings together women artists whose work reflects the strength, complexity, and beauty of womanhood.

This exhibition celebrates women’s voices and lived experiences while addressing the personal, social, and economic realities women navigate every day. Through powerful visual storytelling, participating artists will explore themes of self-love, assertiveness, equality, and women’s rights.

EmpowHER is both a celebration and a call to action, honoring women’s contributions while inspiring dialogue, solidarity, and change.

We welcome artwork that explores:

Self-Love: Exploring self-acceptance, healing, care, and the reclamation of one’s worth and identity

Assertiveness: Celebrating women who speak up, take up space, and claim their voices without apology.

Equality: Challenging gender stereotypes and highlighting women’s achievements across history, culture, and professions.

Equal Pay: Addressing economic justice, labor equity, and the persistent gender pay gap.

Women’s Rights: Engaging with broader issues such as reproductive rights, education, bodily autonomy, and freedom from discrimination.

Interpretations may be literal, abstract, or conceptual. All mediums and styles welcome, including painting, mixed media, sculpture, textile, and photography.
